Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Perry County Criminal History does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be kept long enough to review the request and respond. The message is not disclosed outside the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may automatically receive standard technical and usage details, including:
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- A referring website, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Perry County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Instead, it points to official routes maintained by the Perry County Sheriff's Office, the 32nd Judicial Circuit, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Criminal Justice Information Services Division Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Government disclosure and closure decisions remain controlled by the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo. In particular, section 610.120 RSMo governs the dissemination of closed criminal-history records, while section 43.500 RSMo defines criminal-history record information and the Central Repository framework. Visitor data is not converted into a consumer report or a dossier about another person. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices, so review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Perry County government, Missouri courts, state agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on the provider's systems.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be received by:

The service is intended for adults, and personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone younger than 18. If information from a minor is identified, we will delete it promptly.

Missouri's Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, regulates access to public governmental records, but it does not make this private website a public agency or records custodian.
